The Official Launch of VisibleU is this Wednesday!

VisibleUMonths of intense labor has finally paid off … Visible Shops is very happy to announce the launch of VisibleU!

The official launch of VisibleU is on Wednesday, October 21, 2009, at the NY XPO for Business. It’s the region’s largest B2B show, featuring a full day of business opportunity, growth and value. Not to mention plenty of time to network! If you have time to stop by, we highly recommend it. You never know who you’ll meet – besides us, of course.

In the meantime, we wanted to let all of you know that VisibleU is up and running right now, and we’d like all of our friends from Visible Shops to see what we’ve done and how you can benefit from it.

Through the past several years we met with many small business owners who really liked our concepts, our methodology and our people, but said that we simply cost too much for them. We decided a year ago to do something about that. We resolved to find a way to bring our concepts, methodology and expertise to every small business owner that wanted to take advantage of Internet marketing.

The rules we set for ourselves were simple.

1.    Must be affordable for all businesses no matter how small.
2.    Must be able to educate small business owners on Internet Marketing concepts and tools.
3.    Must provide access to our professional Internet Marketing Staff.
4.    Must be scalable so all businesses can get what they need.
5.    Should not require a long term contract.
6.    Should always deliver a positive ROI.

We did it! Now it’s available to you. Visit the VisibleU Web site and check it out.

But wait – there’s more…

How 'Bout a (Social Media) Revolution?

SocialMediaRevolution1In anticipation of tomorrow’s Visible Shops seminar, “Small Business Social Media: Find Your Next Client” – (which still has room for YOU, by the way) – we thought the following video was appropriate.

It has tons of facts and statistics about social media (that will help you persuade the powers-that-be that this isn’t just a fad), its relevance to today’s society, and how the movement may mean more to the world than the Industrial Revolution did 200 years ago.

And if you’re one of those folks who consider yourself a social media guru – you know all things Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIN – think again. You’ll be surprised at the odd yet intriguing finds this video presents.

Whitepaper on E-mail Marketing for SMBs Now Available

whitepapercover_imgIt’s no surprise that more and more companies are turning to the Internet to get the word out about their services.

Tough economic times have taken its toll on small- and medium-sized businesses, forcing them to make more informed, cost-effective decisions regarding their marketing efforts.

Kelsey Group, a Princeton, N.J., local search and directory research firm, estimates that the percentage of small and midsize home- and trade-services businesses with Web sites will increase to 60% by 2010, up from just 33% today.

Visible Shops Goes Meta: The Office's Viral Marketing Campaign

In this postmodern age, almost everything is self-referential and knowingly ironic. Even in the advertising world, an approach can lead to “meta,” an ambiguous pop culture concept of self-reference. Think about selling out/merchandising jokes on The Simpsons. Or a Charlie Kaufman film with the screenwriter as the main character.
